• Details you give us when you book, take the level test, apply to teach or contact us: your name, email, level, goals, suburb, availability and messages.
• Payment details, collected and stored by Stripe. We receive your name, email and payment status, never your card number.
• How you use the site (pages visited, device and approximate location), through PostHog analytics.

How we use it

To match you with a tutor, arrange and deliver lessons, process payments and refunds, reply to you, and improve the site. We share your name, level, goal and availability with the tutor we match you with. We don't sell your information.

Where it's stored

We use service providers that store data outside New Zealand, including Stripe (payments), Notion (bookings), PostHog (analytics), Vercel (hosting) and Resend (email). They are required to protect your information.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept for 7 years for tax purposes. Other enquiries are deleted after 2 years unless you're an active student.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you by using our contact form. If you're not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
