Evening classes

Evening Spanish classes

Spanish lessons scheduled after work, from about 5pm on weeknights, either at your home, somewhere near your office, or online. Because lessons are one-to-one rather than a fixed group course, the evening slot is booked around your week rather than the other way round.

Who it's for

  • Anyone who can't learn during work hours
  • People who found a fixed evening group course didn't suit
  • Shift workers who need the time to move week to week

What your lessons look like

You pick the slot

Weeknight evenings from around 5pm, and later if that suits your tutor. The slot is agreed with you rather than set by a timetable.

Move it when you need to

There is no term you have to keep up with. If a week is impossible, the lesson moves instead of being missed.

Online when it's dark and wet

Many students book in person in summer and switch to online lessons through winter, keeping the same tutor.

Levels we teach

Questions about evening classes

How late in the evening can lessons run?

Most evening lessons start between 5pm and 7.30pm. Later slots depend on the tutor, so tell us the time you actually need when you book the trial.

Is an evening group course cheaper?

Usually, yes. Group evening courses in New Zealand tend to run around $150–200 for an eight-week term. A private lesson costs more per hour, but the whole hour is spent on your Spanish and the time is yours to move.

Can I do evenings one week and daytime the next?

Yes. Lessons are booked from a pack rather than fixed to a weekly timetable, so the time can change week to week if your tutor has the slot free.

Do evening lessons cost more?

No. Evening and daytime lessons are the same price: a $25 trial, then $450 for 10 in-person lessons or $400 for 10 online.
